ok in the episode learning cruve tovok is told to train the maquis. and he makes them run 10k. but i mean come on i hate to say this but how to expect 2 bajorn kid and chell who are obviously out of shape to run 10k. i dont think its pysicaly possible in that type of sitation. i mean i know i cant. you cant not say to people who are out of shape run 10k without stoping. like i said how are you expected to do that if your obviously out of shape. and while i am at it that was also burtal how chell had to demagtze the transporter room by hand.

Great post! And froot hit the nail on the head. The entire POINT of it was to be brutal (though actually, wasn't the point Janeway wanted supposed to be "make them understand our way of doing things"?).
I think they were trapped and resentful with their whole purpose as Maquis pulled out from under them. Tuvok's training gave them something to be proud of, a personal accomplishment which hopefully helped them look for a positive role in this new life.
Not really. It's just that nobody wants to re-read a post several times, trying to understand what is being said, because the author is too lazy to make an attempt at proper punctuation and what not. In forums I don't moderate I usually just skip that stuff. FWIW
