Do you think old style masturbation is seen as outdated in the Trek future?

    I mean people still have sex and people who aren't having sex are sometimes still going to want to feel the need to deal with at urge but I was thinking. Would technology of the future like holograms basically make the old way of just using your hand seem very primitive by the standards of that time? The few times we have seen anything even close to a masturbation reference with starfleet people is basically either Riker or Barclay going to the holodeck.
