Do you miss any of the Actors?

I miss Jeri Ryan (a few seconds every week on Shark doesn't count) and Colm Meaney.

I thought she had a bigger role. At least the episodes I have seen it seems like she was there a lot. Of course they haven't been many so many things have changed.

As for Meaney, hasn't he been in several movies since DS9?

Yes, most recently in a critically acclaimed Irish film I'll be getting around to seeing. And he's got Life on Mars, Meaney's doing fine. :)

Thankfully in season 2 of Shark Jeri Ryan is getting more screen time. James Woods was getting burned out with all the hours he had to work in season one and he asked for hiswork load to be lightened a bit. Not a lot but somewhat and so Jeri Ryan's been getting some more to do.

I've been thinking, and Avery Brooks and Colm Meany are among those I miss. All of the DS9 cast frankly. They may be working, but it's rare that I see any of them.

I've heard that Marc Alaimo, Tony Robinson and Casey Biggs are all done with the TV acting biz for now or for ever (Alaimo's retired).

If actors are on shows that don't interest you, they may as well be gone, so they still count. (Not that Shat is one I miss, but still.)

Wildfire is not my kind of show.
Same here, although I've thought about turning on just to see what Ms. Visitor's character is like, and because I've liked most of Michael Pillers stuff.
Oh, and Time Russ also has a new regular role, he's the doorman on Smantha Who? IMHO one of the best new show's to come about this season. Sadly I think they are the only Trek actors, other than Shatner, to have regular roles right now. Although if Colm Meany is going to be a regular on the American Life on Mars, when(if?) it gets made.

I miss William Shatner...

Watch Boston Legal then. Shatner is everywhere and thus disqualifies him from this discussion.

It's just not enough. Shat needs to be hosting a late night talk show I think, on which he performs his musical poetry material regularly. An artist needs to breathe...

Hmmm. I hadn't really thought about this exclusively until I saw this thread. If anything, there were times during my viewing of various Trek episodes where I'd lament not having seen a particular actor since their Trek tenure (or at least not being aware of their doing something else). And honestly, it's hard not to miss a great deal of the actors who were involved in Trek over the years. The casting, for main and minor characters alike, was almost always spot-on. Trek, IMO, really presented us with a lot of talented (and likable) people. So many choices.

For me, however, I particularly miss Brent Spiner and Robert Picardo. Both were so talented and performed their roles so well. It was easy to get a sense of both how funny and how serious Spiner could be as an actor, and that Picardo really had a great range of acting ability. Aside from Spiner's brief stint on Brannon Braga's short-lived alien invasion series for CBS, it's a shame that these two, for whatever reason, haven't done more since Trek. Also, I feel the need to mention Michael Dorn who, sans the Klingon make-up, was probably one of the better-looking male leads Trek has ever had -- though you'd never know it, of course. Even though he is, indeed, older now, I was always surprised that he didn't do more, too.

:brickwall: :brickwall: I can't believe I forgot about that. I also forgot about the fact that Nicole De Boer was Johnny Smith's ex and son's mother on The Dead Zone.
