Do you miss any of the Actors?

One of the things about Star Trek is that it has produced many actors who come and go. Most of these people preform mostly on broadway and are really never seen again on the small screen. I was just curious if there was anyone who has been in Trek you would love to see on TV again in some form, either as a lead, supporting, or guest role. I'm not necessarily asking about who was your favorite, since there are a lot of Trek actors who have done things other than Trek (Rene Auborjoneis, William Shatner, Patrick Stewart for example) but who would you love to see on TV again.

For me, Avery Brooks and Robert Duncun McNiel. For Brooks, even though he could sometimes overact, there was a majestic presense about him that I really enjoyed as Sisko. He was a great choice for Trek's first black captain, even though I could have easily seen like Morgan Freeman or Samual L Jackson in the Role. As for RDN, Paris is an underrated character. When people talk about Voyager, they always talk about the Doctor and Seven, or Janeway and Chakotay, but Paris had a really good character arc. McNeil played it really well and then after the series, he disappeared and hasn't been heard sense. It would be nice to see him again.

I really miss Suzie Plakson, she was so charming as K'Ehleyr and I always enjoyed seeing her other little bit parts she got from time to time.

Andrew Robinson was excellent as plain simple Garak, I wouldn't mind seeing his acting again, has he appeared in any films or TV shows since DS9?

^ Beautiful, and tall!
Plakson has played a wide range of characters throughout her career. [2] As an actress she is noted for her height, standing at 6 ft 1½ in (187 cm).

I love tall women. And short women. And, not so short, too.

Another vote for Andrew Robinson. Actor, Writer, all around talent. :D

I miss the characters more than the actors, they kinda felt like family after awhile, or atleast friends :/

Connor Trinneer. I know he hasn't been gone as long as most but he gave a humanity to Enterprise that I felt it lacked, certainly in the first 2 seasons.

I miss Andrew Robinson, Casey Biggs and Marc Alaimo. Connor Trinneer is likely to pop up with his own series someday - hopefully. His role on SG:A isn't enough. Jeffrey Combs and Nana Visitor are a couple others that will pop back up (the latter on BSG in S4, I've heard).

Some of the people you guys are listing are actually still fairly active, Jeffrey Combs actually had a decent sized recurring role on The 4400, Conner Trinneer has a recurring role on Stargate Atlantis, and Nana Visitor is starring on Michael Piller(RIP)'s Wildfire on ABC Family. ADM has been pretty busy directing TV shows lately, just this season alone he directed 3 episodes of Chuck and the pilot for Samantha Who? I just looked at his IMDB entry and it turns out he'e been incredibly active as a director. As per my count he's directed 44 different TV episodes since VGR ended.
Michael Dorn was actually just on Without a Trace a month or two ago.

I'm staying away from the original-series actors for age reasons.

TNG: Burton, Frakes, and McFadden (plus Goldberg and de Lancie for the guests)
DS9: Brooks (Why stay at Rudgers? :( ) and Shimerman (particularly after his performance in "Far Beyond the Stars"), plus Combs, Robinson, and Alaimo for the guests
VOY: Dawson, Picardo, and Russ

ENT is too recent to miss.

Never cared for The 4400 (tho I did tune in especially to see Combs once or twice) and Wildfire is not my kind of show.

I did mention Trinneer's role as Michael, but the SG:A writers just aren't talented enough to give him material worthy of him and the role is degenerating into an embarrassment. Same problem with Ben Browder. It's downright gruesome seeing talented actors having to perform scrips so mediocre.

Yeah, whatever happened to De Lancie, anyway? I never cared for the concept of the Q, but I liked him as an actor.

So I imdb'ed him. He's in Milo Ventimiglia's upcoming movie "Pathology." Which will a megahit for certain, and how do I know? Milo's grown his emo bangs back!!!

^ De Lancie was never really that interested in screen acting. He's more involved in sailing and composing now.

I miss Jeri Ryan (a few seconds every week on Shark doesn't count) and Colm Meaney.

That's cool, considering his father was an oboist who befriended a postwar Richard Strauss (and to whom Strauss dedicated his oboe concerto, IIRC). But de Lancie was absolutely superb at playing those sophisticated, dry wit, uppercrust characters. His chemistry with Stewart was one of the best things in TNG.
