  • Yes, because it make a lot of sense, and ends the story with a beggining of a new mission

Voted no because TMP is set too far ahead of TOS. Its like a new beginning not a finale to the old series. We still know little about what occurred between TOS and TMP so there is no uninterrupted connection for it to be a finale.
 
No, not TMP=Finale for the show. We never saw the real TOS finale the show was canceled 2 years before then.
