DK's The Star Trek Book - Anyone Read It?

Has anybody here read DK's The Star Trek Book? I've been curious about it for quite a while, and from some of the previews I've flipped through it looks like a nice overview of the franchise.

I got it cheap ages ago. It's got some fun stuff, but it's very much a light and fluffy introduction to Trek.
