Hey Disney, gender-specific entertainment brands aren't rocket science.

Rogue One grossed a billion dollars at the box office. It's not really a great example of Disney or Kathleen Kennedy for that matter doing anything wrong. Nor is there anything in the Variety piece that implies that casting female leads is going to be avoided in Star Wars going forward. It sure as fuck won't be avoided in Ahsoka season 2.

It's mainly not Gen Z young men who's responsible for all the review bombing of material, anyway.

What does "review bombing" have to do with the current problems at Disney/Marvel/Lucasfilm?

Are you implying that "review bombing" is a priority problem for Disney/Marvel/Lucasfilm?

No, and it doesn't follow from what I said, at all.

I clearly said that I believe Gen Zers aren't responsible for the review bombing. Disney's intention to attract more members of Gen Z means they are addressing a different problem from the review bombing.

Headlines such as that of the 2016 Screen Rant article you posted do, however, correlate with review bombing, which is equally clear. It's why I even mentioned review bombing at all.

My point was precisely that the audience Disney wants to attract has nothing to do with any of that. Your connection of the present statement to the Screen Rant article is specious.
