Discrepancies between netflix website and app on my wii

Here's the issue. I've been watching The Tudors and Battlestar Galactica (the new one) on instant streaming via Netflix for my wii. All of a sudden both shows are unavailable according to the wii. I checked the Netflix website and it says they are both still available for instant streaming (Galatica through 2013 supposedly!) I'm not sure why this is happening, have any of you had this happen before, and how did you resolve it?

Tudors shows up on my PS3 at the moment. I have had this happen to me before - shows dropping out of my queue and appearing as "unavailable" if I search for them - and then suddenly they're back, usually within a day or less. It hasn't happened in a while, and the only thing I "did" between the time when they were there, then weren't, then were again, was log in/out.

So maybe it's just a bug?

It's probably just an issue with the interface. Netflix has to design interfaces for every device, like Roku, XBox 360, PS3, and so on. So yes, it's likely just a temporary bug. Check for updates, and reset your PS3. That should fix the problem.

This problem began back in May, coinciding with the wide launch of the new UI-the scroll across in one line interface that nobody who had the previous one featuring single page viewing of the queue and genres seems to like.

Titles that are still available for streaming show up as missing on many devices. The solution is usually to close the app for several minutes and reopen. If the missing titles aren't there, it may take as long as a day before they are returned. Netflix hasn't explained exactly why this issue keeps happening.

I have had this happen before as well. I didn't do anything to fix it, just turned off the Wii and went back the next day and they had returned to my queue. If they are gone for more than 2 days I would start looking into it more and contact Netflix.

I notice other odd things too. Like the selection of row themes varies a lot when I log in on my PS3. Sometimes there's a "Previously Watched" row, sometimes there isn't. Sometimes there are suggestions based on something I recently gave a decent rating to, sometimes there are no suggestions and just categories. Not sure if this is a bug or a "feature" of some sort, but it definitely makes me shy away from watching anything that's not in my instant queue - if I get stopped halfway through and next time my "Previously Watched" row is gone, it's annoying. So I always throw it in the instant queue first.

Minor complaints, but the inconsistency is annoying sometimes.

The PS3 Netflix is a piece of shit. It works randomly and has random shows missing that I had on my computer.

I've been seeing this on my Wii for a while. It's annoying, but as others have said, those missing shows are usually back the next time I turn it on. The other problem I have is that when I do try to use it on the Wii, I usually get an error that the Netflix service is not available or it can't connect or something like that. I just try again and again and it will finally connect after a dozen or so tries.

I also have a set-top media box, a Samsung something-or-other, that can connect to Netflix. It works perfectly every time, but the interface isn't as good and it's a lot harder to get to what I want to watch, so I usually start with the Wii and if it's being especially difficult I switch to the Samsung.

I haven't been near a computer in two weeks. Is the tv show LIFE still listed on line? Last I knew it wasn't on the PS3 Netflix.
