For the most part.

Mad Men, Star Trek (TOS), the original Outer Limits, Peter Gunn, Have Gun Will Travel

Are you liking Discovery thus far?
Yes but wasn't impressed with episode 1 & 2.

Discovery is winning right now with some parts of Ds9 close behind.

Garak/Quark - Kirk 2009/Lorca

What are your Top Five shows of all time?
Hard question with so may options so I will limit my answer to scifi only.
XFiles, Fringe, Legion, Babylon 5 S2+, Red Dwarf

I've only seen the first episode--and that seemed stilted.

I am reminded of this quote From Amadeus:

1. Are you liking Discovery thus far?
Loving it. Seems to be combining Trek's best elements with the best elements of modern storytelling - it even has my wife hooked, which is a rarity.

2. What's your favorite Star Trek show?
DS9. Hands down. TOS a close second.

3. Who's your favorite Star Trek character?
Impossible to have just the one, but DS9 has the richest tapestry. Staying within the regular cast, Sisko has a bit of everything: Calm, anger, professionalism... a bit Starfleet, a bit soldier - and a family man all at once. He's probably the most well rounded I connect with.

4. What are your Top Five shows of all time?
Excluding any Trek, it'd probably change on a weekly basis, but off the top of my head:
- MASH
- Only Fools and Horses
- Battlestar Galactica
- The West Wing
- ....and simply because it's ridiculously easy to drop in an out of which is brilliant in itself; Friends.

^ Ask me another week I might add in Stargate or Breaking Bad, or One Foot in the Grave, or something else. Though the first two wouldn't change at all.

1. Are you liking Discovery thus far? Yes. Just like everything else, nothing is perfect, and neither is this show. But, I still like it. I think this is the best version of Star Trek since DS9.
2. What's your favorite Star Trek show? Discovery, so far. I hope it doesn't disappoint me.
3. Who's your favorite Star Trek character? Benjamin Sisko
4. What are your Top Five shows of all time? In no particular order: Battlestar Galactica, The X-Files, Seinfeld, DS9, and ENT. I just re-watched every episode of ENT. I think it was a very underrated show that didn't deserve half the criticism it received.

Are you liking Discovery thus far?
The Klingon scenes are torture. Like "call the Hague" torture. But otherwise it's tolerable. Main character's a dud, but you don't watch Star Trek for the fine acting.

What's your favorite Star Trek show?
Voyager. Ha ha! Just kidding, no one likes Voyager. DS9.

Who's your favorite Star Trek character?
Probably Worf, son of Mogh.

What are your Top Five shows of all time?
At this moment? The Office, The Shield, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I just re-watched every episode of ENT. I think it was a very underrated show that didn't deserve half the criticism it received.

Agreed, but it does deserve the other half .

It's true though, I rewatched it when it turned up on Netflix UK and enjoyed it much more than I expected to. Didn't like much of the Xindi arc or time war stuff though, but really liked the "Federation building" aspects.

I'm a little off topic, and I apologise, but really wanted to make that joke...

Yep. I'm curious where it's all going. I'm loving the POV of Micheal Burnham gradually unravelling the mysteries of the USS Discovery and her crew of cranky weirdos.

Probably Kelvin-Spock. Loved his depiction and arc in ST'09.

Science fiction shows, I assume. Only two truly stand out for me - TNG and Farscape. Loved ENT and DS9 as well, the first half of nuBSG etc.

The best american sitcoms of all time for me are MASH and Seinfeld. Best crime show is The Wire, bar none.
