I'm beyond happy to see Star Trek go from totally ignoring LGBTQIA+ people in the 1990s to winning a GLAAD Award.
Yes, they really made the effort and it was richly earned this time around. I still want to adopt Adira, and I want Hugh and Paul to be my cool uncles.
Couldn't have won for the actual story. It was so boring. The characters could have been wriiten with interesting personalities but they weren't. Everytime they were on screen talking it was boring and i started to drift. Much of STD is like that. Now if they won for most boring and forgettable dialogue i would agree.
