First: when I said this in the other thread:

Which this showboat-y accusation of "No Fun" isn't.
Second: this forum has been about the 2009 Star Trek movie, and has (in essence, if not yet in forum title) expanded to include discussion of the 2012 sequel film (which is not, as far as I know, called "Galaxy Quest" nor, as far as I'm aware, has J.J. Abrams been attached to any such project.)
Third: while you clearly put a few minutes at least into the construction of your opening post in the other thread, satisfying at least that aspect of the
post concerning humorous threads in the Forum guidelines, it's related to neither the current Trek film nor the future one in any way beyond the inclusion of Abrams' name, which really isn't a strong enough connection.
Fourth: as a joke, it's pretty much all over and done with in the first post, isn't it? I'm not sure where you expected it to go from there, even if it
had been more closely tied to Abramsverse Trek. How funny it actually was is purely a subjective matter and may vary according to the individual.
Fifth, and finally: did I
really need to explain all of this?
