Right after Nero lets go of Kirk when he is going to kill him on the Narada, they scene is reversed. Suddenly it's Nero's left ear that is missing a piece instead of his right.

Thats like the trailer when they show Spock attacking Kirk on the bridge and his shirt insignia is on the other side of the shirt, as if that scene for the trailer was mirrored somehow.
