I was watching Bandslam today, and I tried to say in my head "Goodness this is generic Archie!!!" But even my thoughts trip over one another and the thoughts I thunk were "Goodness this is generic Archer!!!"

Which had me wonder if I hadn't accidentally stumbled onto something right up there with the pentagon papers, since Admiral Forest was obviously Principle Weatherbee, Tucker was blatantly Jughead, Veronica and Betty had to be Reed and Mayweather respectively, and who else but Reggie was T'pol absolutely emulating to a tea, and who's as kind, large and friendly than Moose and Phlox that they're practically interchangable... Um? One left over. Shit. Hoshi is Josie (Sans pussycats.) and see(!) if you're a little drunk, their names even rhyme.

Can you carry on or "improve" the analogy?

Like they did to Homer in the Simpsons episode "Sideshow Bob Roberts."

Ack! Not enough supporting characters to go beyond the core cast. Capt Hernadez=Sabrina...One night with her magically made Archer all better.
Kelby=Milton Drivesdale-cause everything he does, backfires...

I tried but I cannot see it. Maybe Trip as Archie and Hoshi as Betty but that is about it. There is no T'Pol since the girls on Archie are either vain or flighty. And I don't remember anyone on The Archies getting beat up. That knocks Archer out of the mix.

If we cast T'Pol as Veronica, then her pa Hiram has about the same relationship with Archie as Soval has with Archer.
