Forever

200 year old immortal medical examiner with the deductive skills of Sherlock Holmes, living in modern day New City, who does not know how he is Immortal, solves murders every week side by side with a very attractive female Police Detective.

Shit.

The worst thing about this show, not that its all bad, is that when Ioan does his Sherlock routine to pick up women, they are intrigued, amused, arroused and captivated by his observation and intellect... On Elementary and Sherlock when Homles does the same thing, people just punch Sherlock in the nose for putting them under a microscope becuase it's intrusive and creepy.

Yes, I am aware of New Amsterdamn, but I'm not sure the producers of this were, unless the producers of new Amsterdamn are the people making Forever... No? But one of them produces the Robert Downy JR Sherlock Holmes movies.

They seem to have merged New Amsterdam with Elementary, only people aren't quite as put off by Mr. Fantastic as they are with Sherlock. They also went with the older son like in New Amsterdam. Thought they were taking a page out of Unbreakable until it turned out the mysterious counterpart wasn't actually in on the subway attack.

Seems like a pretty lighthearted show despite the massive body count at the beginning. It's going to be on at the same time as Person of Interest and I don't think I care enough to DVR them both.
