Just finished it today and thought it was great. Even better than expected. I thought it might be a nice police show with some sci-fi elements but it had a interesting take by making the hero basically a cop for a evil corporation government and the bad guys freedom fighters and then sort of breaking it all down making things more complex with each season. Plus the kick-ass action was top notch. Maybe some of the best you will see. Also expect to see just about every familiar Canadian actor who ever guess starred on X-Files,Smallville etc on the show. Always fun to to notice when you watch shows filmed in Canada. Jason
Yeah, it was an excellent show. And refreshing to have a Vancouver-filmed show that was actually set in Vancouver -- although it was rather implausible that basically every globally important event over the next 70 years or so happens in Vancouver.
I loved the show. Have all seasons on dvd, as well. Great commentary on the road corporations are heading toward, too... a "Corporate Congress" is just a stone's throw away, really.
I thought it was a pretty good show--I only disliked the third season. And yes, the ending was gut-wrenching.
I lost track of it before the last season, but I did really enjoy what I saw. I thought it was a nice change of pace that it wasn't just another fix the crappy future story.
I'm always trying to get people I know to try this show. Yes, it was way better than I thought it would be and held my attention throughout. Had a trippy ending as well. Pretty sure there have been spoiler threads here. Highly recommend this very underrated little show.
Yeah... i did like it. Stephen Lobo in particualr i thought was great, as well as Young Alex. I wish Older ALex had matched more with his younger self, so it would seem more like the same man. Definitely excellent physcal resemblance.
I liked the show. The future where Corporations run the government is interesting and possible. The main protagonist Kiera being a cop, fighting for the corporate congress, against highly motivated and well trained terrorists, who turn out to be freedom fighters waging war against the corporations. That was an interesting twist. But I did not like final season. I felt it was rushed.
Absolutely loved it, not least because Rachel Nichols is just so beautiful I can't stand it. I thought it did some very clever and unusual stuff with time travel. The only thing I hated was that the evil corporation was called "Sonmanto." An awkward word to say and hear, and a WAY too obvious real-world reference.
