Did anyone like "Eastbound & Down?"

I think it might be the funniest show on tv and i'm glad it will be getting a second season. Kenny Powers is now one of my favorite characters on tv and I also love the gay(or not! It's possible he just has a man crush on Kenny) music teacher who has a crush on him. It's fun seeing him trying to emulate Kenny's behavior. The scene were Kenny Powers does something unfortunate to the actor who plays Darryl on "The Office" is proably one of the best scenes of this tv season.

No. But it was a helluva a song by Jerry Reed in Smokey and the Bandit. One of the best car cruising songs ever produced.

^Indeed it is. I miss Jerry Reed.
As far as the tv show, I thought it was fantastic. It's one of the few shows in the past several years that I thought was consistently funny. It's the rare show that is smart and stupid at the same time, but in a good way. Also, Kenny Powers reminds me a lot of my redneck brother-in-law, so that really enhances my enjoyment of the whole thing.

I only became of the shows existence a couple of weeks ago when my little brother was raving about it. It is indeed quite awesome... it's just a shame there won't be new episodes until 2010.

I watched it even though I loathe baseball and I make sure to never watch, read or even talk about the sport.
However, I do appreciate a TV comedy that has adult humor in it so I've been putting up with the baseball stuff.

I thought it was pretty damn entertaining, I hear it was picked up for a 2nd season so I'm looking forward to that.
