what happened to the other 2? killed? chose to remain on board Enterprise?

Whilst I think Khan was just rounding down, I'm surprised that the EU never picked up on that.

...He realized two of them were actually working for his old enemies? He denounced the one suckered by McGivers when she freed Kirk, and counted himself out (it's not clear-cut whether it's 72 or 72+1 in "Space Seed")? I could see possibilities, but I wouldn't yet do the mad scientist "the possibilities are ENDLESS!" dance...

Considering there's fifty or less left by the time Reliant comes calling, it probably doesn't matter whether he rounded down or not. "They killed twenty of my people. Including my beloved wife." That probably wasn't an exact count either, anyway.
