I wasn't sure how relevant this was. Sportscaster Dick Enberg passed away yesterday. He didn't have any direct connection to Trek, but he was the ex-husband of Jeri Taylor and the father of Alexander Enberg (Taurik and Vorik). I'm sure this is a very sad turn of events for both of them, especially right before the holidays. I don't know if either has any social media presence, but my condolences to both of them and their family.

I had no idea that Alexander Enberg was Dick Enberg's son until now, though I guess given the name and the uncanny resemblance I probably should have put those two together. Sorry to hear he has passed. Rest in peace.
Wow really? I never really noticed the resemblance, but I will look out for it the next time I see an episode like Voyager's Blood Fever.
I loved hearing Dick Enberg announce games. Whether it was Football or Baseball (Didn't really hear him as a Basketball announcer) he always had a soothing voice.
