Dick Durock has died.........

Dick Durock who played Guard #1 in Elaan Of Troyus has died at age 72.

He is, of course best known for playing the 'monster' version of Swamp Thing.

R.I.P. big guy and rest assured you won't be 'whipped to death' in heaven.

An actor who appeared almost namelessly and often facelessly throughout many great projects. I'll miss you Dick. I remember an old Starlog interview Durock did where he spoke kindly of Shatner who gave him advice on overcoming stagefright. He seemed like a really cool guy.
