Dexter Season 3 Episode 1: Our Father

So, who saw it and what did you think?

I enjoyed it, but if anything it felt a little inconclusive. Maybe it just felt that way because it is setting up all the wonderful things for this season, but it didn't really feel complete.

I thought it was okay. I loved Dexter during seasons 1 & 2 but felt that the premiere kind of recycled some elements of the season 2 arc. I did, however, greatly enjoy the tease at the end with the baby. I hope they bring that storyline to full fruition and explore the possibilities.

Above average. The hook in this premiere was not quite so great as the hook in the second season premiere (though, it would be hard to top that). I like some of the stuff they are setting up though, and I'm curious to find out the story behind the guy that Dexter killed spontaneously. What was he doing there, anyway?

I thought this was a great set-up. Dexter is moving beyond his father and testing out his own limits. Who is this new cop? Is he bad? Will Dexter's sister end up working for IA? Is Dexter really going to be a dad?

So many great possibilities!

1. Hate Quinn; he's bland and uninteresting.

2. That IA lady looks like she just graduated from high school.

3. I find the whole Freebo/dead son/DA thing boring as hell.

4. A baby? Please -- spare us!
