Even though his music is pure crap I though the movie was a intresting look a someone with mental illness. Something I can relate to somewhat with my own depression and OCD but even I have never been as batshit insane as this guy was. I wonder if I would have gone off the deep end if I turned to drugs like he did because I think that kind of stuff makes mental illness even worse for it's victims. I'm surprised it didn't win a Oscar.
