details for remaining dollhouse season 2

holy shit, judging from that list of dollhouse all-stars that are set to return in the remaining season, looks like the writers have quite a ride in store for us to the series finale (EPITAPH TWO!).

I was very ambivalent about much of dollhouse's first season, but the good episodes really shine to the point where I think the show had earned its intended 5 season run... which unfortunately is about to come to a premature end.

That said I wonder how conclusive an ending we will get. Am I correct in remembering that the cancellation news came before the writers got a chance to write the last few episodes?

The official news of the cancellation broke out as they were producing episode 11, as for the ending, Joss Whedon takes lessons learned and often tries to conclude each season as if it were the last (prematurely or not) anyway, because of things like this. I wouldn't be surprised though, if things were changed slightly for 12 and 13 to bring the series more to a close then just the season, though.
