Its back baby!!!

Had my first ever Con back in 2021 because of you lovely weird people and so hyped to see that something is going on this year!

To that end, thought I'd kick off a thread for it so people can discuss and all that lovely Rikery jazz

Think J G Hertzler and maybe Jess Bush or Admiral Anton Chekov himself, Walter K (how has this guy never been in Trek before - reminds me of that TOS guy with a similar name.... ;p)

Tried to book. So far, they've declined my credit card, told me (when I used a debit card) to correct "highlighted information" (no highlights) and now repeatedly told me there's a problem and to try again.

At this point, I remembered the problems I had last time I went to Destination Trek in Birmingham when Eventbrite repeatedly "corrected" my email address to something that wasn't mine and to which I had no access and then sent me the wrong ticket anyway...

There is the slight matter that, based on what I have heard from people, they do struggle to organise I piss up in a brewery.

The official after parties are, to put it impolitely, like a shit school disco where the head teacher thinks he is a wicked cool DJ

But the guests sound decent, they seem to generally do well with the talks, and the unofficial AP will be class
