Denny Crane's Ringtone

Hey guys, I lurk here often and I thought I would finally post again for a bit.

I was watching Boston Legal last week, the episode where Denny Crane is charged with solicitation of a male prostitute, and when he goes to call Alan, his cell phone makes the classic sound effect from TOS of the communicator opening.

Did anyone else catch this? Anyone else notice little tidbits of Star Trek injected into this show, besides the numerous Star Trek related casting choices.

He's had that ringtone for a long time (at least 2 seasons). Note also that it's a FLIP phone.

EDIT: when asked who puts in all the Trek references on BL, he said "I do.". :thumbsup:
