Well first off I'd like to thank everyone who voted for my entry last month, it was pretty overwhelming. To cross universes for a moment:
We pray for one last landing
On the globe that gave us birth

...but anyway, on to this month. By tradition and the will of the people, the topic will be a holiday one:
The Perfect Gift
Give us the Trek version of the fabled 'perfect holiday gift' for you, all trekfen, or a character perhaps? Interpret as you see fit, serious or silly, moving or ironic... any belief system is welcome. And to liven it up a bit I'll also accept other Trek races' version of a harvest holiday as well... I'll assume they all have one in some form and cite Hodgkins' Law of Parallel Planet Development!
So get a mug of mulled Romulan ale and show us your stuff!
P.S. Given the closeness of the vote I think the next winner should seriously consider the Borg option
