The theme of the challenge by @Bry_Sinclair was:

Your challenge for the next couple of months is to write a fanfic story that isn't in the Trekverse but rather a different fandom, whether that's a TV show, film franchise, comics, novel, etc.

Despite the Challenge title, it doesn't have to be sci-fi based, it can be any genre you like it just has to exist out there somewhere (so from a well-established sprawling franchise that's slowly taking over the world, to a single film whose characters and setting you love, to that one TV show you fondly remember that was cancelled after only a few episodes).
