Death in Winter question

Should I rewatch Nemesis before reading this? I've only seen it once and that was when it was first released to dvd. Or does the book summarize it up fairly well?

Death in Winter doesn't rely heavily on the events of Nemesis; it just takes place after it (or rather, between the climax and epilogue of the film). As long as you have a general idea of what happened in NEM, you should be fine.

I'm reading through it now. By and large, it doesn't actually engage all that much with the film; the most important thing is to remember who's who among the Romulans, but for the most part you'll get summations of the characters' histories shortly after running into them.
