I'm trying to watch it but I'm finding it less interesting now that Phil is gone. Seems like they've done what they can do with this concept.

I watched it last night. I also thought it was a little weird without Phil. He was an amazing guy and a big part of the show for me. But I still love the show. I like that they have some new boats on the show. More fresh faces can't hurt. I have been a fan from the start and think this season has potential to be as good as the others. And expanding to the blue crab grounds should be cool as well.

I don't know if anybody saw tonight's episode or not, but if you did, you'll know what I mean by this. I would like to see somebody knock the shit of that asshole Keith. IF anybody needs a major ass kicking, it's him. God I could never work for him, I'd be in jail for murder.

Haven't seen tonight's episode yet, but I can't stand Keith. It may be the editing, but he always seems like a total jackass.

Yeah, other than watching them officially mutiny against Keith, or him do something dumb enough to get someone actually killed, there's not much left to see here, honestly. The concept is just worn down.

We get it, the weather sucks, hours are crazy long, and redneck personalities in stressful conditions = fighting. Nothing really new happening anymore, just business as usual, and catching crabs. Fun for a little while, but it's run its course for me...

Agreed. I used to catch every episode but there's only so many times I can stand

1. It's cold.
2. We're sleepy
3. Lots of Crab
4. No crab.

I would say it's jumped the shark but having THAT happen on the Northwestern would actually be pretty cool.

I still enjoy the show but I've had it with Keith. If he's back next season, I'm out. Life is too short for me to fill my entertainment hours with assholes. It's why I stopped watching Storage Wars, the show wasn't good enough to overcome my distaste for the asshole on that show. Same concept applies here.

Now seeing him get the shit beat out of him by a crewman or in this case a Discovery Channel cameraman, now THAT I'd pay good money to see. Otherwise, so long asshole, don't need your antics on my screen anymore.
