I must have seen this episode about 4 or 5 times now. Only today did I realize that the voice of the alien computer running the repair facility is none other than the actress that plays Torres in Voyager. She also directed Dead Stop but her appearance as the voice of the computer appears to be uncredited.

I hope I am not wrong.

Just watched this for the second time/first time in a decade. Awesome ep; if only the whole first two seasons were this good...

Definitely my favourite episode of the first 2 seasons. Since I watched ENT directly after watching VOY, I picked up on the voice first time, but I'm always listening for that kind of thing anyway.

This is a great episode. It was symbolic of my frustrations with Enterprise S2 - it had some really, really good episodes (Dead Stop, Minefield, Regeneration) but then had some of the lowest points of the series (A Night in Sickbay, Precious Cargo). What a wildly uneven season.

Then things got really, really good in Seasons 3&4.

I like Dead stop the space station was very mysterious and spooky. I like the scene where Trip and Malcolm are having lunch on the space station and he talks Malcolm into crawling through the airducts of the space station to try and find out who was running the station, I like when they were beamed off the station onto enterrpise's bridge and T'Pol is looking down at them like they were naughty kids.
