I agree! My wife and I loved her character from "stumbling" hero to the more experienced hero in season 4. After that season we stopped watching the show.Her.

Great show for the first four seasons.
Madame Webb made 100 million worldwide after an 8-week run in theaters.Madame Web did exactly $100m off a product budget of $80m. Supergirl might hit $110m off a production budget of $175m.

Pretty much - might push to $120m but the international drop-off and 73% Dom second weekend puts a hard cap on upper limit.Madame Webb made 100 million worldwide after an 8-week run in theaters.
Supergirl today starting it's second weekend is at 87 million worldwide. You really think over the next 4 to 5 weeks it's only going to make 23 million more?![]()
Was that directed at my post? If so, it’s misplaced. I am fully on board with multiple and diverse takes on these characters. I liked the Slater, Benoist, and Calle versions of Kara very much. Hell, I liked Alcock’s cameo in Superman. Different interpretations aren’t the problem, subpar movies are.But why would they want to do the same thing again? There are other takes from the character that are just as legitimate. The execution was off in this case, I'll grant you, but to just do the same thing over again that I just been done with the character would have been silly.
It will most likely go past $100 million but not much, the movie's already dead.Madame Webb made 100 million worldwide after an 8-week run in theaters.

Absolutely not, no way. TheIncredible Hulk had a $55 million opening weekend which is significantly more than Supergirl had with $37 million, Hulk also had an almost 50/50 domestic/international split while Supergirls is closer to 60/40. So not only did Supergirl make much less domestically , the international numbers are even lower. Supergirl will get nowhere near Incredible Hulk's $260 million. It's probably going to do Incredible Hulk level numbers worldwide by the end of its run.

Man, I want to love season 4 because the message against hatred, ALT-right, racism, sexism and discrimination was amazing. But sometimes the way it was told was in such a way that it felt unnatural. Because the heart of that season was everything that show was about! After that.... Well, I never finished the show.![]()

Great show for the first four seasons.
Maybe that the Gunnverse Kara needs that little finger piece on her uniform so her sleeve don't bunch up when she flies?yeah lol lol
i wonder what her and all of co stars in the arrowverse thinks of the dc universe film verison of supergirl
Yes. I enjoyed it the first time. My favorite aspect was actually their interesting interpretation of The Cheetah. But then, I've been a WW fan since the early 70s.Are there any women who enjoyed Wonder Woman (2018) in this thread? If so, would you please comment on whether your favorite aspect of the movie was Chris Pine's hotness?
James Gunn says other DCU movies won’t come to digital as quickly as ‘SUPERMAN’“Next time, it’s gonna be longer. I don’t want people to get used to it, it’s purely because of ‘Peacemaker’ that I let it come out at this time”(via: I Think You’re Overthinking It)
If MOT only hits $600m, then we will head into the next version of the dcu...With Spider-Man unquestionably sailing past a billion and Avengers likely to do so if it doesn't totally f' things up, what happens to Gunn if "Man of Tomorrow" comes in at the same 600M range again?
Warners' aren't paying him vast sums of money to make films that just squeak into profit.
