What's the big issue with that? Most of the winter, it's dark going to work/school and it's dark going home. We cope just fine.
Depends on the latitude.Personally, I wouldn’t mind having DST all year round, but that would mean some people would be driving to work in the dark during the winter. And schoolchildren would be walking or taking the bus to school in the dark.
