Davros vs Jack Bauer. Honest!

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
The big bad this season, or fraction of this season before he gets flipped to sell out his overboss come around about episode 10, is a Russian terrorist named "Davros".

LOL!

If Jack shoots "Davros'" hand off, or he's in a wheel chair by the end of the season, I'm going to be rolling on floor gaffawing.

I don't get it.

There is a terrorist in 24 named Davros, Jack just killed him in episode 4. This is Manny Coto's way of trying to adding some amusing scifi under currents to 24. We also have Cliff Simon (Baal from Stargate) as Russian Sniper that Jack killed in the second episode. Starbuck and Leoben from BSG are also in this season of 24.

Massive 24 spoilers that I have been avoiding.

Thanks SO very much. :vulcan:

What spoilers? What I mentioned has already aired and those 2 he killed were low level thugs that don't spoil anything in the plot.

This may come as shock news to you, but there is the rest of the world outside of the US. Some of us even visit this board. And we have not yet seen this season of 24, as it hasn't aired, wait for it, outside the U.S.. And we would like to be the judges of what we do or don't consider to be spoilers, rather than having you be the decider for us.

So, thanks for spoiling it for us.

If I'm not mistaken I thought the rule of the board was that after a show airs in it's respective home country (24 in the US, Doctor Who in the UK for example), that spoiler code was not needed? If this has changed maybe a Mod can weigh in and clarify.

And saying Jack has killed 2 thugs is not a spoiler, he kills like 20 bad guys every season. Thats like saying the Doctor will save the Earth again in Season 5, he always does, many times. It's just a typical aspect of the show.

Also I would point out the thread title 'Davros vs Jack Bauer. Honest!' is a sort of spoiler too and you may get spoiled by coming in this thread.

i believe spoilers should be tagged for one year after broadcast.

someone ought to remind temis of spoiler time limits since she's always blabbing about fucking Heroes and spoiled me last season.

That could refer to anything. I thought it might be a youtube video or something, splicing together clips of 24 and DW. How could I have anticipated that someone would come in and blab about what happens in the brand new season of 24, which only aired in the US this week and hasn't even got a listing date for the UK yet?

We do have a spoiler rules thread pinned at the top of the SFF forums, including here in the Doctor Who forum. The statute of limitations is for one year from the time of the first broadcast, regardless of where that country/time zone/dimension may be.

Only 20? Must have been a pretty crappy season. 24 means he should kill 24 terrorists per episode.

I think the fact he's only killed 3 so far this season is pretty low. Jack needs to up the count. Although axe to the chest may count as 5 kills.
