David Warner and Liam Cunningham in Gatiss' episode

I wonder if David Warner is going to play the character of Evil from Time Bandits or Jack the Ripper from Time after Time. Mr. Warner is definitely no stranger to Time Travel Stories or Sci-Fi.

Unfortunately, I have to agree on all counts with Cutter John in regards to Mark Gatiss but hopefully his writing for Doctor Who has improved because of his great work on Sherlock.

Thirded, although I'd go further and say I'm not impressed by his acting either.

I loved David Warner as Sir Isaac Newton in the "Summer" portion of the Big Finish audio "Circular Time."

But, regardless of what other great SF/F he does, to me, he will always be Professor Jordan Perry from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. And I will always love him for that.:techman:

His role as Mycroft Holmes is better than his writing in Sherlock imo. His Hound episode was very disorganized imo.

This thrills me no end, one hopes that David Warner wouldn't star unless it was a good story. I always think back to Gul Madred and how simply awesome he was in that role, we can only hope for a character as amazing.

In Warner's defense, he had a tiny, inconsequential role in that film. He had, what, three scenes in the whole thing?

I suspect he'll be he only good thing about the episode.
