The latest "Play of the Week" podcast from the BBC stars David Tennant in a reading of Robert Browning's original poem:

David Tennant stars in The Pied Piper of Hamelin by Robert Browning with music and songs by John Harle and lyrics by Joyce Harle sung by the choir of Wingham School, Kent with Thomas Platts (Head Chorister at Canterbury Cathedral).

I didn't realize how Seussian Browning's poem was until I heard Tennant's reading.
