Darth Vader battles Gandalf in new series starring Milo Ventimiglia

I don't actually care, I just thought that was about the FUNNIEST story title imaginable.

No, I didn't make it up.

Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia is set to appear in and co-produce Ultradome, a new scripted Web series in which warriors from sci-fi's most popular franchises settle hypothetical disputes in a special-effects showdown.

"My whole life has been spent engaged with friends in intellectual debate ... like whether Captain Kirk is tougher than Spock or if Middle-earth is a more difficult place to live than Tatooine," Ventimiglia said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "With Ultradome, we can bring these debates to the public and settle them in the most logical way possible: through armed combat."

See?!? He's a big ole stupid nerd! Now everyone can stop hating Peter Petrelli.

(And geeze louise, of course Spock can kick Kirk's ass. How bout some tough ones, like Galactus vs. Batman?)

This sounds like that show on spike tv with warriors from different era's ruling it out, I saw an episode where they broke down a fight with a Viking vs a samurai

It's kind of predictable, that one. Pretty much anyone with a bow is going to kick absurd amounts of ass.

I think this is more like the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, I hope.
