Saw that the Discovery Season 4 premiere have named a species Alshain. Now, how in the world am I going to make this square with my Alshain? Oh boy. Guess there's going to be a lot of genetic engineering in their future from Dark Territory to Discovery.

Quite simple. Two different species named the Alshain. They might get a little sparky with each other and cause nightmarish headaches for Star Fleet officers...

There’s also the fact that Discovery technically isn’t canon, despite what the show runners want us to believe. Too many radical departures from the prime universe!

Of course they’re obviously stealing from United Trek now. Watch for more of our aliens to start popping up!
