Daredevil: More Courtroom & More Formula

Maybe if David E. Kelley had made it, that's how it would've gone. (I'd still like to see him tackle She-Hulk)

We've seen how David E. Kelly does superheroes. I'd rather She-Hulk not be a homicidal nutjob with a convoluted (but somehow still cliched) "chick flick" style home life, thanks.

Also, when it comes to Daredevil, I agree with basically everyone else when it comes to the OP's idea: Hell no

^Less of the 'we.' I haven't. Some people may've seen his Wonder Woman pilot but I'm not one of them.

Well, I meant kind of an "overall" we. Also, even if you haven't seen it, the content and quality of the pilot has been discussed online a lot. Its far from a secret that David E. Kelly's Wonder Woman was pretty atrocious, and the reasons for that are probably a google away (and I'm not talking about finding the pilot, I'm talking about finding reviews/discussion of it).

Whether you've seen it or not, he made it. David E Kelly wrote the pilot, and it was basically the worst official Wonder Woman thing to have ever been made. Its kind of morbidly funny, but the person who wrote it isn't someone you'd ever want to write a superhero again.

^Yeah, I know the reception wasn't good. But pilots often aren't representative of how a show as a whole will end up.

I'm a big fan of Kelley's best work but I'd agree that at his worst - the last few seasons of Ally McBeal, being the obvious example - is pretty bad. WW was never a good fit for him, but I think he could do a good She-Hulk in the vein of Peter David's comic take.

As for the argument that we've seen him do a superhero show and he should therefore be barred from ever writing one again, don't forget that Greg Berlanti was involved in the critically (and fan) mauled Green Lantern movie but has gone on to give us the beloved Arrow and Flash tv shows.

Sometimes, no, but most times they are.

As someone who hated everything about Ally McBeal, I say let him prove it with another of DC's characters. Leave him out of Marvel's.

To recycle your "less of the we", frankly I still prefer the nineties Flash and I've never liked any incarnation of Arrow, Green or otherwise. My favorite Berlanti show this season has been "Blindspot", which has jack to do with any superheroes. Supergirl, meanwhile, could be great, but he put Ally McBeal in it.

Going from Crap Lantern to this slate doesn't impress me.

When I first seen this comic I thought it was a weird dark Batman rip off from Marvel and I thought the story was set in Boston maybe. I didn't get the comic at first so I put it down but I have gone back to it, the city of New York looks great on the show. The Netflix place was the best way to bring out the personality of the city, here as a tv show we see so much more than we get in the Daredevil movie. I loved the action but I also think some of the courtroom lawyer scenes were the best in this tv series.
