Dimension Extreme's forthcoming sci-fi horror flick Dante 01, which arrives on DVD April 21. The French film is set in a space prison where a prisoner with monstrous powers is infecting other inmates.

The film is a story about a prison facility space station ''Dante 01'' which is used to experiment with "insane criminals" by psychiatric doctors. A new inmate, named 'Saint George' by resident prisoners, is the sole survivor of a convoy space ship that met disaster and has been convicted of its crew's murder.

it's a 2008 January France release but only just released on DVD in April in USA.

Has anyone seen this?

It looks a little like Alien³ (1992) meets some sci fi thriller ala The Matrix but with space scenes not just planet-based. May be worth a rental.
