Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz Are Married

I'm amazed that two celebrities could actually pull off a secret wedding in this day & age. Good for them.
More interesting, they managed to pull off their relationship largely in secret. It was rumored around New Year's (along with a few pictures of the two of them together), but there were denials from publicists for both that there was anything there. And some of the speculation on Aronofsky's decision to pull out of Wolverine was that he was trying to work through the problems in his relationship with Weisz, which a year in Japan would not help.

I obviously know nothing about Aronofsky's personal life,

You should've stopped typing here tbh.

but I can't say I'm too surprised to see that a filmmaker who repeatedly and almost single-mindedly gravitates to stories of desperate, mentally unstable, psychologically broken, and all-around unhappy people might have a hard time holding on to a woman as full of life as I suspect Weisz to be
You need to learn to distinguish life from art.

Well, it's not necessarily a stretch to think that a filmmaker's work might reflect their personality. Paul Verhoeven, for example, continually tries to purge the horrors he saw in his childhood in WWII Holland by making ridiculously violent films ("when I close my eyes, I see flames").

And Kevin Smith's geek-filled films reflect his geeky personality. And Michael Bay's silly action-fests are not the work of a timid or quiet man. And Hitchcock's Vertigo is so obviously a reflection of his state of mind that no cinema critic would ever dream of denying it.

Could I be wildly off-base? Of course. I said so.

Your honesty does you no credit. If you don't want to read random speculation, why did scroll through a bbs thread on a celebrity marriage? ;)

I thought this thread was about Craig and Weisz, not about speculations regarding Aronofsky's personality.

Let me check the title again, sec...

Ah, there we go: "Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are married".

Want me to check again?

Didn't think so.

Your vain attempt at "reasoning" does you no credit. If you don't want to be called out for it, why write random generalizations about a person's character you admit you know nothing about?
