Did you ever do (Yule) Exchange Stories?
You know...people thinking of plot bunnies, they would like to see written and then by coincedence those bunnies get given out to the participants. Its all anonymously, means the writer does not know for whom he writes and the bunny-giver does not know who has the bunny he/she wants written.
Then shortly before deadline the writers gets to know, who he/she wrote for and gives it to her/him as a present.
Though the writers can say something like: I write only DS9 or I write only this race or I would not write slash, so that they not suddenly get a slash bunny between characters they not even know, but someting they are comfortable with writing (even it can be difficult and provocing still).
