Tsk, seems like there's one of those guys in every movie...

It's definitely a type, no question, but they managed to have some fun making Cupcake just a little bit more interesting than your average one-line big tough guy, while not burning up a lot of time in doing so.

I think it'd be a nice touch if Cupcake and Kirk come to an understanding of appreciation and respect in the next film, but Kirk still calls him "Cupcake" just because he's Kirk.

It's a good pic. And judging from his facial expression, I'm even more convinced that if Depp ever does his film on Barrett, Kutcher should play Dave. Yes. I'm serious.

Indeed; they packed a lot of good small roles into the movie. Even Cupcake was well cast.
