In response to the controversy about Alice Eve‘s Marcus underwear scene in Star Trek into Darkness, J.J. Abrams released a cut scene featuring a showering Benedict Cumberbatch‘s John Harrison. Abrams appeared on Conan last night, where Conan addressed the Marcus underwear scene controversy. “You’ve been taking some heat for a scene that I didn’t personally [...]

Shoulda' left it in. May have brought another million or so female (and some male) fans to the movie. I expect it'll be in the Blu-ray release.

I want to know where it is and when it is. All we see of Cumberbatch is a the lone villain on the run, this domesticity must be explained!

This scene takes place right after his character has the three way sex scene with Kirk and Spock.:p

People find Cumberbatch attractive? I can't get past those teeth.

I'd watch the movie ten times for a Quinto shower scene though.

Third Nacelle this won't earn me any friends but.. I had to stop watching Sherlock because Cumberbatch repulsed me so much. Not the character, his looks. It was a weird reaction and I still have zero attraction to the man. Oh well more for everyone else!

And YES YES YES to the Quinto shower scene. All of which reminds me of something..

A friend of mine nicknamed Cumby "Curdles the Milk Faced Man". She referred to him by that to three separate people and each asked, "are you talking about Benedict Cumberbatch".

I like him as a villain, he was positively inhuman looking and creepy, and that voice.

Oh yes I must add despite my repulsion when I heard who he might be playing I knew he would nail it and be perfect. No complaints about his acting and so great to have such a fandom name in Trek.

Oh my god, I'm dying!:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

That was just epic how you ripped the man's looks apart.

The director of TWOK pretty much came out and admitted "They're Real and They're Spectacular" about Ricardo Montalban's chest.

I don't think you'd say it like that if it was Alice Eve we were talking about.

Why not? To not do so would be to invite a double standard.

Benedict Cumberbatch.
Zachary Quinto.
Alice Eve.
Chris Pine.
Zoe Saldana.
Anton Yelchin.

The list goes on. My busy hands know no gender! :ouch:
