Cruella - 70's Era Cruella de Vil Prequel Starring Emma Stone

I hope at some point they do a flashback to her getting bitten by a dog when she's 2 or something just to explain her dislike for dogs.
 
I just watched this with the wife on Disney +..............I really enjoyed it and was impressed with Stone

I love Emma Stone........ She looks amazing as Cruella but since this is a prequel I take it the puppy skinning woman we see in 101 Dalmations happens later.
 
I really loved Emma Stone and the soundtrack was amazing! However the plot didn’t totally grab me. It was good just not great. Better than all the new live action ones Disney has been putting out.
 
Story wise the good bits were seeing her origin story of how she became Cruella, and how she came to know Jasper and Horace. Once that was established it fell apart for me. I get that she wanted revenge but I just didn’t like the “mommy issues” angle.

Haven't seen it yet but I love Emma Stone so really want to watch it.

I enjoyed it all......I liked the relationship between her and her mentor/foe..you see where she picked up some of her traits. I DO feel like it was 20 minutes too long BUT after thinking about it.......I don't know what they could cut so I would have given it 4.5 outta 5.
