Basically I want some good, constructive advice on how to improve my website. Like, is the purpose of the Flash panels obvious? And what else can I improve? Thanks!

I spent about a minute on your website and still failed to understand the purpose of it. The average web user gives you four seconds so I would work on honing the message, whatever it is.
Also, only a small percentage of web users bother to scroll down and it looks like you blew 150+ pixels of vertical space on top padding.. and then another 160px on a header image with no discernible relevance to the content. At 1024x768, there is zero actual content above the scroll.

Your site is very unfocused and disorganized. Like Mr. B, I couldn't easily tell what it's about. I know what Zazzle is, but most people won't. You might want to focus on having your site landing page be more explanatory and less cluttered. Way too many buzzwords for anyone uninitiated to get what's going on!
Agree with the above suggestions. But I do want to give you some credit for some nice ideas, too. For example, you've got some great catchy terms such as Squidoo and Zazzle. Once clarified, they could really catch on!

Maybe the most important thing is the masthead at the very top. Under "Squidoo Geek" at the top, instead of "See something you like, etc" you might have a more pithy description of what Squidoo Geek's overall purpose is.

You had did a very good job,its nice website. I would like to suggest you that the colour combination is little bit not matching, I like the purple one You can have that colour as the base and use colour matched with purple.I am also agree that no one will scroll too much. The sign up and registration should be in that white colour so it can be more visible.You can always have a link for videos there isn't need to have clip on main page.I hope this will help you to make your website look more beautiful.
