    YouTube allows you to use either the Standard YouTube License or the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license for your videos. Would you ever use CC-BY 3.0 for any of your fan films?

    I don't think Creative Commons was developed to protect someone from the legal consequences of using (stealing?) someone else's IP.

    It'd be helpful to know a little bit about "Creative Commons". Can you explain it, or post a link to a neutral site that explains it?
