craziest places in Trek

What are the weirdest places in the Trek multiverse? My bet is on the reverse universe from TAS: "The Counter-Clock Incident" where space is white, stars are black and time runs backwards.

With the magic universe from "Magicks of Megas-Tu" coming in very close second.

The Talaxian System

Tuvok probably left a warning in the logs for future Vulcan visitors to the Delta Quadrant. They all would go mad if they tried to visit Talaxia.

Depending on who's there and what they're thinking, the "amusement park planet" from "Shore Leave" has the potential to get really really weird.

The inside of the time pod from the 31st century (Enterprise). There's not a lot that I felt like that series did right, but the way everybody seemed disturbed and kind of creeped out by that seemed a lot more realistic than the way people see the inside of the TARDIS on Doctor Who, have a moment of wonder about "it's bigger on the inside", and then go right back into the plot. :D

You know, the Expanse on Enterprise didn't turn out as weird as it was built up. We never saw anyone get turned inside out.

^That weird asteroid field from "Impulse" where they found the Zombie Vulcans was pretty much recycled for Beyond's Necro Cloud.

The Celestial Temple was particularly odd. Especially in its first appearance with Sisko seeing a storm beaten rocky outcrop and Dax seeing a sunny grassy field.
I loved that. The same place, but it looks completely different to each of them. It's a shame they never revisited that concept.

I agree with both of these. I'd love to see a live-action remake of Counter-Clock.

TAS had some really weird episodes. I'd add "The Time Trap" to this list. That TAS episode where the Enterprise and a Klingon ship get stuck in a time vortex or something and the descendants of the crews from lost ships have built their own starship society in the dimension. Really weird.

Actually, presumably in backwards land babies get shoved into their mothers after living full lives in reverse aging.

That episode sure was stupid. If it wasn't for featuring Robert April it would have no redeeming value.

Without meaning to sidetrack the conversation, have you seen the Red Dwarf episode 'Backwards'? They also wrote a couple of Red Dwarf novels where they explore a backwards universe in more detail. For a comedy series/book, it makes a surprising amount of sense.

Although yeah, wasn't really a fan of the Counter-Clock Incident. As for a live action remake, I give you 'Rascals'.

Yes, definitely amusing.
