P.s... I quite fancy the deputy editor which makes me do really silly things whenever I have to speak to him. The other day I found I'd idylly picked up one of his pens and started sucking on it while I was talking to him! Doh

Our tenth wedding anniversary is today, so we had plans to go a great Indiana state park called Turkey Run for the weekend. Had a cabin all lined up, tons of trails, etc.

Just got a call from the in-laws, who were supposed to babysit, and they've both caught colds.

Instead of hiking and fucking all weekend, we'll be taking the kids to the zoo.

The champagne and pizza frivolities of last night are but a tipsy memory. As is the big politics debate we had round the table down the boozer.

It was incredibly windy where I live last night, I was nearly blown over walking home and my Somerfield shopping bag of 'random drunken food purchases' was flying crazy.
