Okay with all Trek TV coming to Netflix (except for DS9 in october) what episodes will you be watching first for those of you in North America with Netflix subscriptions?

TOS, TNG, Voyager and Enterprise will all become available on July 1st

For TAS streaming on the advertising-supported (free) model goto this link:

I think I'll check out some of VOY season 4.

That is just 14 days away to all you can watch Trek on Netflix...counting down...

Prob ENT seasons 2 and 3. I gave up during season 1 but came back for the much-improved season 4. From what I've read on the interwebs, there are decent episodes worth watching in those seasons of ENT so that will be nice to see.

I've got all of TOS, TAS, TNG and all 11 movies, and frankly Trek is something I'd rather own on DVD.

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if Netflix Canada is going to be showing all of the Star Trek series or is it currently only in the US?

Thanks!

I got way too many shows to catch up on. Maybe when I wade thru all of Six Feet Under, Justified and The Sopranos, I'll start in on TOS and do a big rewatch.

If I haven't died of old age beforehand, that is. Damn. There are a lot of Sopranos DVDs.

I'm just going to watch in chronological order starting with Enterprise. But I'm really looking foreword to The Original Series and Voyager which I've never seen more than 2-3 episodes of each.

Was any reason for the delay in DS9 ever mentioned?

No idea what's up with that.

I have most of the DVDs (TOS, TNG, DS9, TAS, and films), But I might finish off some of the Voyager and Enterprise episodes I never got around to seeing.

EDIT - Are we getting TOS-R or the original version? I have a friend who will be watching on there and he is curious.

I think I'm going to check out the first episode of season 2 of TNG when the sets were lit by the director of photography in a more low key cinema style lighting for one sole episode before it went back to the lighting on TNGs bridge that the rest of the series has of the beige hotel's flat lighting.

Also some other Borg episodes of VOY not on the Borg DVD fan collective.

Tomorrow guys! Who else is excited who doesn't own loads of DVDs of Trek?

One of the ways Paramount was convinced to do all the work on TOS was the prospect of selling a "new" product for syndication. I'm sure this would fall under that purview, so I'd almost guarantee that Netflix will be showing the new FX versions.

I would love it if it was the Remastered Versions of Star Trek. I have the original sets, and I've been thinking about doing a rewatch, but watching the Remastered Versions will be like watching the series for the first time again.

Fine with me. I have the classic FX on DVD but I've only seen a handful of the remastered eps and am looking forward to seeing all the awesome new visuals

Anyone know exactly when on July 1st? Because it's less than 2 hours away from July 1st in my time zone and I wanna know... :)

I assume after dawn, though I might be proven wrong in six minutes.

Go to bed, wake up, and there it will be. :p

They don't have season 1 of The Original Series and the search function has 113 episodes of Enterprise listed. But won't load the episode list. :wtf:

I know Toshiba helped pay for the upgrade to season one, I wonder if that could be the reason we're not seeing it on Netflix?

The movies aren't there and the Voyager episode list also doesn't want to load through my PS3.

uh oh some of the episodes in season 1 of ENT are presented as pillarboxed 16:9 meaning just the 4:3 center cutout.
starting with episode 3.

Seasons 2-4 of ENT are presented as 16:9 video.
