I've watched and enjoyed Corridor Crew for many years, especially their VFX artists react series. In the latest episode, they discuss the Borg Queen's entrance and how it was accomplished:
I'd like to see a piece about how the ships were done in Generations especially - looking at the physical and CGI versions of the D. As well as looking at how the models were combined with CG. All six movies had a standout VFX sequence:
TMP - Pretty much the whole thing!
TWOK - The CGI Genesis video
TSFS - Stardock and the exploding Enterprise
TVH - the incredible whale models
STV - I guess the El-Capitan sequence?
STVI - that shockwave effect that every movie thereafter seemed to use and the CG character morph was a big deal at the time.
Ins and Nemesis didn't really have anything special or unique in terms of pushing VFX forwards IMHO.
