Who had the coolest or the uncoolest pet on Trek, Data had Spot, Barclay had Neelix both cats. Pickard had fish, not what I would call a pet. In Generations Kirk and Pickard had horses. Worf had a pet Targ, so did Martok, then there were the Tribbles who were everybodys pet, so who had the coolest and uncoolest pets on Trek...

Probably a particularly ugly breed of targs, considering that it looked pretty much like the things in "Sleeping Dogs" that were identified as targs. Not all of them are cute and cuddly and have shiny white mandibles of death...

I rather liked Grand Nagus Zek's little stick creature - supposedly another Corvan gilvo like the ones in "New Ground".

Regent Worf also had a cute companion on a leash. What was it called? Gurak? Garrek?

I don't know if Spot was the coolest, but he sure was my favorite. The Data Spot interactions were great! The Poem was probably the best 'pet moment' in Trek history that's for sure!

I'll go with Kruge's lizard-dog. There were also those snow-dog type creatures on Rura Penthe, with the one big tooth in the front.
Let's face it, throw in the targ, and those Klingons had some good pets!
